Lubbock is the center of the South Plains, a university city with the everyday ease of a much smaller town. Villages at Lubbock puts you on its north side, close to the interstate and away from the traffic around campus.
Interstate 27 runs right past the property, so downtown Lubbock is about ten minutes south and Texas Tech and the medical district are not much farther. Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport is just up the road.
Mackenzie Park, the Canyon Lakes trails, and the Lubbock Lake Landmark are close enough for an ordinary weeknight. And when you want a road trip, Amarillo and Palo Duro Canyon are about two hours north.
